FUT ALPHA National Teams Guide

National team matches replace standard club or pickup formats with country-themed teams. Each national side has a distinct kit drawn from real international football — Brazil, France, Argentina, England, Spain, and other sides that community testers have verified in the experience. The kits are the most visible change from regular Open Beta play; the underlying football physics, stamina, and skill systems remain the same as the July 31 build. Matches run in small-sided formats — the exact roster size depends on the server population at the time. During open windows, you may find 6v6, 8v8, or similar reduced-sided games alongside any full 11v11 sessions that the server cap of 25 allows. National team matches are NOT FIFA-licensed. FUT: Group created original kit designs inspired by real national sides; they do not carry official branding from any football federation.

When you enter the experience during an open window, look for a team-selection or match-type prompt in the spawn UI. The exact menu label shifts between Pre-Alpha builds — community testers document "National Teams" or "Select Team" options as of August 2026. If the option is absent, the feature may not be live in your current server or the window may not have national match rotation enabled. To create a national team session, you typically need to be a host or have a party leader set the match type before the lobby starts. If you are joining solo, queue into a public server and watch for other players selecting kits at the spawn screen — that signals national match rotation is active. Verify you are in a FUT: Group experience (Place ID 88033955914813) before assuming kit variations are a national match feature and not a separate football experience.

Community testers have confirmed kits inspired by: Brazil, France, Argentina, England, Spain, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Portugal, and Belgium. Additional sides may appear as FUT: Group iterates on the kit library. The September 2 update refreshed these designs, so earlier screenshots from July may not match current in-game appearances. Kits update visually but do not yet carry official federation branding. FUT: Group may add or remove kits in future builds. If a team you expect is missing, check the official Discord for kit rotation announcements or wait for a subsequent patch note. Do not confuse national team kit selection with the separate FUT 25 card-based squad building — they are entirely different systems inside different Roblox experiences.
